Singing River — Roadsworth

Roadsworth‘s new painting on the Lower Don Trail is a visual response to the work of Native Earth writers Cathy Elliott, Jeremy Proulx, Jessica Lea Fleming and Cheyenne Scott. The four writers created original texts in response to the “singing river”: listening to the Don/Wonscontach River’s voice and reflecting on its past, present and future. Mentored by Jani Lauzon, the workshop series culminated in a group improvisation with Christine Duncan and the Element Choir. Poetry by the four writers was woven into the Sunday evening performance of A River’s Journey.
